What we keep
- Your name and mobile number, when you order, join as a member or write to us on WhatsApp.
- Your delivery addresses, and the map pin if you choose to drop one. Saved addresses are also kept on your own phone.
- What you bought: your bills, orders, points and member price.
- Your WhatsApp messages to us, including any photo or voice note you send, so the store can answer you.
- Your feedback, if you give a rating after a delivery.
We do not ask for card or bank details. You pay at the counter or at your door.
What we use it for
- To deliver your order to the right door, at the time you chose.
- To work out your points, member price and what you saved.
- To tell you about your own orders: received, on the way, delivered.
- To answer you when you write to us.
- To send offers, only if you said yes.
WhatsApp messages
Messages about your own order are sent because you placed that order. Offers are sent only if you ticked Send me BBK offers on WhatsApp, switched it on in My account, or sent us START, and never more than twice a month.
Reply STOP at any time and offers stop at once. Reply START to have them back. Messages about an order you place will still reach you.
Your chat is read only by the BBK store that serves you and by our head office. Staff at the store see your number partly hidden. WhatsApp itself is run by Meta, and your messages pass through Meta under WhatsApp's own terms.
What we never do
We do not sell or share your details with anybody for their own use. The only people who handle them for us are the services our system runs on: our database and website hosting, and Meta for WhatsApp messages. They hold them only to run BBK's service.
We do not hide bad reviews, and our staff are not tracked by location.
Having your details removed
Write to us on WhatsApp at 90739 08902, or tell us at any BBK BAZAR store, that you want your details removed. We will remove your name, number, addresses and chats from our records and let you know when it is done.
Bills are the one thing we must keep, because Indian tax law requires it.
